We have a handful of rules. These rules are to make sure that we all get on and also to keep the forum in order. There are three main points. And in the next three posts I will elaborate on all three points. There might be more added to the rules later, but this is basically it.

RESPECT FOR DRIVERS
The F1 drivers are not celebrities, and a lot of them like to keep their personal life to themselves. But most of all they do their job which is a highly dangerous one to do and deserve fans respect.
1. No Personal Rumors If a driver likes to keep things private then please keep it private. Rumours on their career fair enough, but nothing personal.
2. No Flaming Drivers There is one thread for "nasty" posts, other then in that one thread disrespecting drivers is not something I agree with.
Nicknames... I can deal with, and harsh words in a race thread fair enough, but no attack of a driver constantly.
3. Family / Family Photos Some of the drivers keep their work life and family life separate. If they do I think we need to allow them that privacy.
If you find a photo of say, baby Felipe on a well known site I do not mind it being posted. BUT I do not agree with candid photos. Race weekend its fair game, but not just random ones.
It is a difficult rule as I myself will break it from time to time, but it has to be clear that we do not go too far!
Any insults on drivers girlfriends/wives or family members or anything seen as over the top and unneeded will be deleted.
IN GENERAL
Just respect that whether or not you like them they are all human. If you just think of it like this. There are 24 people in these cars. They all put their lives on the line. Start there. Yes some then go out of their way to be in the limelight. Others don't. People react differently to them as well. You'll either love them or hate them (or something in between) but the one thing you must always do is respect them. FRIENDLY BANTER WILL NOT BE PUNISHED
But if it becomes persistent your banter will be questioned.

RESPECT FOR MEMBERS
We all love F1. And as long as we all respect each other we can have a fun time. We are after all human.
1. No Flaming Members // Respect others opinions If you disagree with someone say so. You can learn a lot about someone if you ask them and talk to them about something. But you can't go insulting them. Do not start attacking other posters because you disagree with them. Talk your differences out and you might, just might, find something new out.
2. You have Forum Staff... Use us Most of the staff members on here have experience with forums before. We are used to all kinds of complaints. If you have a problem talk to us, any of us. Your messages will be confidential and only discussed between staff members if the staff members think someone else needs to be informed (and we will inform you that we've informed others).
But if you are unhappy, worried or just need help, just get in touch!
IN GENERAL
Remember we are all different. I don't always agree with my best friends opinions on F1, and I don't always have the most popular view on things going on in F1. But you CAN get over these differences and have fun with people with different opinions. Be respectful, if you have a weird sense of humor then we'll pick up on it, just be yourself and always be respectful of others.

FORUM ETIQUETTEJust a few things.... 1. Fan Girling
This forum is all about debating, talking and just generally having fun. The forum was made because a certain amount of people on one fan forum got bored of having dead end conversations. You can not talk to someone who will only post positive reviews, ignores others and generally doesn't want to talk. We do not mind fan girls. I am a fan girl. But there are places for it. Try and talk to others, even if you don't understand whats happening completely. No one cares if you do not know as much as them. You CAN base an argument on opinion. We just want to be able to talk and you can't talk to people who don't post anything other then "OMG he's SOOOO good looking". THAT is what the photo threads are for . Remember 60-90% of the males will not care about their looks, we need to be able to make them happy too! 2. No Txt SpkThe members on here might not all be English, so they might not understand all of what we say. Please make their lives easier. I do not mean that we want Grammar police telling people they are spelling things wrong or whatever. I don't spell everything totally correct and my punctuation is awful. But as long as it is reasonable and not made up crap it is fine. 3. Limit SwearingSometimes it just comes out. But try not to do it so often (there will be a filter, but sometimes things come through the filter). 4. No going way off topicRandom babbling in threads is fine. Start talking about something totally off topic that no one else can talk about, the posts will be moved to the random chat. If it happens in too many threads by the same people you will be warned. The problem is it puts people off. If you go so off topic and totally destroy the flow of a thread you could actually end up ruining that thread completely. Off topic babble that is quite similar to the topic is alright, but don't start talking about your tea in the middle of a discussion about rules or something. IN GENERAL
Keep the forum clean. Keep the forum going. Don't contribute, you'll be deleted. Spam, we don't want it. We just want to be able to love F1 here.
